Christmas crafty

Insert good excuse here for not keeping up with blog!

I have been go go go lately and I need a good vacation! Between crossing duty and work and school activitys and Christmas party's and Christmas shopping and grocery shopping and Christmas crafts not to mention everyday small tasks, let's just say that when I do get to lay in bed, I have no problems falling asleep. I do however have a hard time waking up!

Lately I've been working on some crafts. You know how I'm a perfectionist when it comes to making something for someone else. Well that turns a 2 hour project into a 9 hour project. Not to mention I don't have all the proper tools to do said craft the easy way.

The first craft was a family tile for my sister in laws-mother in law. First off let me just say that it took about 17 stores and two days to find the vinyl I needed. After I finally found vinyl, I spent from the time I got home on Friday at 2pm to about 11 pm working on it. It turned out ok but not as perfect as I wanted it to be. But at least my sister in law was happy with it.

Saturday night was Aaron's work party and he had a ton of fun. I however didn't have time to eat anything all day, thinking there should at least be a veggie platter or something at the party. Ha, I was wrong, it was all mouth watering gluten heaven! So I settled for a mtn dew and waited until I woke on Sunday morning to spend an entire day eating everything I could! And I did just that. Needless to say my stomach didn't appreciate it.

I have yet to get my Christmas shopping done. I have gotten Aaron a few things and got working on my parents gift/craft.( I will show after Christmas. ) but I have yet to get anyone anything yet. But at least I got my Christmas cards sent out.
