Look what we got...
Something new is joining our family. Can you guess what it is?
I took Aspen to her dentist apointment today and while we were waiting for Autumn to get out of school, Aaron sent me a random message asking "Do you want a ____ as a pet?" I replied with "Ummmmmmmm sure" he then sent me a picture, and said "He is about 3 inches tall and about 2 inches wide" to which I said "if you want". I then called him asking him where he found it and how he was going to bring it home due to the fact that he was still working and wouldn't get off work for another 5 hours. He said he found it in a vacant house that he was doing and would take it to the office before his next house.
So as Aspen and I were waiting for Autumn to get out of school, we decided to get some items from the store. I told Aaron that we would have to get something for the little one. So I walked over to the pet isle and found the little ones new house. Aspen was curious as to why i was getting this tank and kept asking me "oh are you getting a fish" "what are you getting that for?". With the tank I also baught some tank plants (well the bulbs of some). When we gt home I put it all together and she still was asking me what it was for and what i was going to put in it. I said "well, i just put some plant seeds in it and hopefully those will grow". This shouldnt have been any surprise to her due to the fact that just last year we did a science project that almost involved the same thing, and I am always gardening anyways. She dropped it right there, never again asked what this tank was all about. When Autumn got out of school we picked her up and as soon as she got home she asked what it was for and Aspen responded with pride of knowledge "She put plant seeds in it". Autumn did her funny "what" grin and that was that.
Aaron is due home with our new little pet any minute now. The girls don't know anything about it. What do you think they will do? Got any name suggestions? Can you figure out what goes in the tank? Leave your comments below and tell me what you think.
