E.R., cheerleading and tumbling

Ok so, I am so sorry about last week, I was In the E.R. all day and then out of it for the rest of, well, week actually.  I had a irritating sinus headache for about 2 weeks before the migraine bus hit me on Wednesday.  Those of you who know me, know that I am a professional at Migraines, meaning, I usually would get them like clockwork anytime a storm came in, or twice weekly. but over the last 2 years they have died off, thank you Jesus! But now I will usually just get a bad headache, take some ibuprofen, sleep, and it will go away. Well not this little bugger last week. I was never one to have allergies, and I still don't really, well at least nothing to really make me say "hmmm, maybe I should take some allergy medicine". But, we had a massive fire here in our town about 2 weeks ago, and well I guess thats when this whole thing started.  I got a minor sinus headache on and off and some sinus pressure and then Tuesday night hit of last week, and I thought I was in for it, so I took some allergy medicine, some Ibuprofen and went to bed, when I woke up I felt just like a semi truck had hit me in the head and then someone punched me in the stomach.  I went to work and then the insane vomiting happened, it wouldn't stop, I felt like I was gonna pass out right there on my bathroom floor at work. So, I texted my lovely assistant, begging her to take my shift for me so that I could go to the doctor. Sure enough 20 minutes went by and I was dead to the world. I couldn't breath, the pain in my head was unlike any migraine I have had, I couldn't stop throwing up, and I felt like I was seriously going to die. Luckily I work about 5 minutes from the E.R. and when I got there, I basically blacked put, but was still functioning. They took x-rays, gave me IV's, Gave me shots in the but, and my mom ended up driving me home. Apparently my allergies were more severe than I thought, They got so bad that they caused a sinus infection which cause a minor toxic shock.  They gave me some antibiotics and said to follow up with them because if the infection didnt clear up by today, then they would have to go in and surgically drain my sinuses. Needless to say after all those nasty horse pills of antibiotics, it has cleared up. yay.

We have decided to put the girls in a sport and after looking at all the sports that are being offered right now, weighing the fact that they are at their mothers house every other weekend and the costs, we have found a cheer program that works out perfectly. But we got an offer for a free class of tumbling too, so we went to tumbling last Friday and the girls enjoyed it. They were able to show "how flexible" and "how talented" (Autumns words) they are and they had an exercise to climb a rope, and they both made it to the top, which is surprising for Aspen, due to her fear of heights. This last Monday they started cheer. Its a 2 hour class that starts late at night, and goes past the usual bed time. They love it, and by the time they are done they are exhausted. Which is great for us because there was no fuss when it came time to go to bed! They also have some friends from our neighborhood that they regularly play with, that are in the class too, which makes it that much more fun. Autumn is the official flyer of the group, and enjoys being "on top" or the "center of attention".  Here are some crappy phone pictures of both events.

So there is more to come on that as time goes on. But that is that for now. The girls have been extra good lately so, I promised them a beauty and the beast night instead of chores, and its just about time to take dinner out of the oven. Thanks for being patient with me, talk to ya next week!
