I stole a car, flashback Friday.

Looks like this didn't actually post yesterday so you get two posts today.

As I sit here listening to Glenn miller I remember my favorite song when I was little was the Chattanooga choo choo. Because anytime I ever heard this song ment that I was in my Rick dads orange/red Chevy truck in some parking lot. Sitting in the passenger side with my dad on the drivers seat with this song blaring, and we were driving about a million miles an hour in circles and doing crazy driving skills. This is when my dad would let me sit in his lap and take control of the steering wheel.

He would control the shifting and the peddles but I was in control of where we were going! This would continue until I could reach the pedals and then I was able to control those too! This is one of my most cherished moments with my dad and I will never forget it either.

As I got older, okay I was 12, but things changed with our family. It became two wonderful family's in one. My parents got divorced and remarried to other wonderful people! My family is unlike any other split family I know because all my parents got along! They all went out together for drinks or out dancing or they would just get together to play cards.

One night my dad and step mom came over and went out with my mom and step dad. (I don't actually use the word step, but I am now so you don't get confused) anyways. They all went out and took my moms car, leaving my step moms car at our house. My friend and I wanted to go get another friend that lived about 4 blocks away, so I said "I'll drive!". Grabbed the keys and told my other sister we were going out to the car to grab something. We took off like a bat out of hell.

Little did we know all the parents were coming home early because my dad forgot his wallet in the car I was now in.

After about 45 minutes I see all 4 of my parents show up at my friends house, my dad laughing uncontrollably and my mom with THAT LOOK on her face. You know that look, the one that says your dead!

I honestly don't remember getting home that night, maybe I am mentally blocking it but, when I got home I got read my rights from all four of them. My dad laughing, my step mom sorta chuckling, my mom bright red in the face and my step dad just sitting back because he probably couldn't get a word in edge wise.

So to this day when we all get together the one thing that is always said is " remember when Hillary stole your car?"

Ps. Sense then I have learned how to hot wire a car and was the youngest in my drivers Ed class, not to mention I passes every part of that class with an A++. Probably the only time in my life I did extra credit because I wanted to!
